Ⅰ. Introduction
ASTM A285 steel plate is a kind of pressure vessel steel plate with low and intermediate-tensile strengths which can be made by killed, semi-killed, capped, or rimmed steel practices at the producer’s option.
Ⅱ. Size of ASTM A285 Steel Plate
The maximum thickness of astm a285 steel plates is limited to a maximum thickness of 2 in. [50 mm] for all grades.
And the length and width need to be made according to both customer’s needs and the manufacturers’ production capability.

ASTM A285 steel plates are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. The plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both
