Today, we will list some steel plate standards for your reference. Due to recently, some friends sent a lot of enquiries to us, some of them are about the fin tube, some of them are about the U tube of steel and Cu-Ni, and some of them are about the stainless steel sheet. But about more than 50% of them are about the carbon steel plate and their processing parts. So we think many friends will be interested in them. But if you are interested in steel pipe or stainless steel products, please tell us, we will make another article for them specially for you in the future.
Regarding the steel plate, there are many different steel plate standards exist. Such as the ASTM, EN, JIS, API, ASME, GOST, DIN etc. If we calculate them carefully, there will be thousands of different standards for them. But today we will just list some steel plate standards that are most common and which we EPC Steel also are good at.

Ok, now, can you count how many standards we have listed do you know? After list them, my answer is “ Oh, My God!”. Yeah, there are almost 90 standards for the steel plate, just for the pressure vessel and structural steel plate, not including the cold steel coil and steel strip etc, and not including the stainless steel products, and not including other standards such as JIS and AS-NZS etc.
And within these 90 standards, some are just for the high technology application such as the A353 and A553, while some are very common such as A36 and A283 and A516. But whatever, if you have need with the standards as listed above, not only just for the steel plate, but also for the processing of them, welcome contact EPC Steel, we have advantage on them and will provide our best product and service for you.
